Russians Will Be Able to Vote in State Duma Elections in 8 More African Countries

 Russian citizens will be able to vote in the State Duma elections on September 20 in Algeria, Djibouti, Namibia, Mauritius, Mauritania, the Republic of Congo, Sudan, and Equatorial Guinea, according to Russian embassies in African countries.

Polling stations will be opened at Russian diplomatic missions in Algeria, Djibouti, Windhoek, Floreal, Nouakchott, Khartoum, and Malabo, as well as at the Russian House in Brazzaville. Additionally, early voting is planned in Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo, with the date to be announced later.

Russian citizens aged 18 and over who are permanent residents or temporarily staying in these countries will be able to participate in the voting. To receive a ballot, voters must present a valid Russian passport or internal passport.

Elections for the 9th State Duma will take place from September 18 to 20.

Russian citizens will also be able to vote in the State Duma elections in Egypt, Zambia, Cameroon, Libya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, the Central African Republic (CAR), and South Africa. Additionally, voting will take place in Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Uganda.
