Uganda is considering options for cooperation with Russia in the oil and gas sector. This was announced to TASS by the head of the Department of International Law and Social Affairs of the Ugandan Foreign Ministry, John Leonard Mugerva.

"Russia has extensive experience and expertise in the energy sector, and we are considering various options for cooperation in this area. We are also exploring opportunities in the oil and gas sector — Russia has significant opportunities in this area, as well as in construction and information and communication technologies. We would like to expand the areas of our cooperation," he said.
