Egypt, Madagascar and South Africa to take part in Intervision

 The Intervision international music competition will feature performers from Egypt, Madagascar and South Africa, the Traditions of Art cultural heritage foundation, organizer of the event, told RIA Novosti. This year's lineup includes artists from all continents, including South America, with acts arriving from Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba.

African participation and performers
- Three African acts are confirmed: Egypt will be represented by singer Moustafa Saad; Madagascar by the duo Denise & D-Lain; and South Africa by a solo performer (name to be announced by the organizers).

Artistic goals and programming
- The foundation says the competition aims to showcase performers from a wide range of cultures, bringing global musical traditions together on a single stage.
- The event is positioned as a platform for musical exchange and cultural diversity, highlighting both established and emerging artists.

- The competition takes place on 20 September 2025 at Live Arena in Moscow.
- Russia will be represented by singer Shaman.

Related festivals featuring African music
- African musical heritage will also be visible at the Spasskaya Tower festival on Red Square (22–31 August), which for the first time features the Zimbabwe Defence Forces Band alongside ensembles from Burkina Faso and Ethiopia.
