The cost of an entry visa to Egypt will increase from $25 to $30 as of March 1, the Cairo 24 portal reports, citing a document from the country's Chamber of Tourism Companies and Agencies.
"It was decided to increase the fee for expedited entry visa processing at Egyptian border crossing points to $30 instead of $25, starting March 1, 2026," the statement read.
This increase follows previous adjustments to visa fees. In December of last year, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi approved a law raising the visa fee. An additional levy of up to $20 per visa was introduced at all border crossing points for entry or transit.
