Aeroflot will resume regular flights from Moscow to the Seychelles starting September 27, the airline's press service announced.
"In preparation for the winter season, Aeroflot is reinstating its traditional regular flights from Moscow to the Seychelles and Sri Lanka," the statement noted.
Flights to the island of Mahé will operate twice a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The route will be serviced by Airbus A350 aircraft configured with three classes: Economy, Comfort, and Business.
In June, Russian Ambassador to Mauritius Irada Zeynalova told the "African Initiative" that the resumption of direct air links between Moscow and Port Louis remained on the negotiation agenda, with the issue hinging on refueling Russian aircraft on the island.
