Rwandan President Paul Kagame has announced the upcoming opening of a Rwandan embassy in Algeria, according to a statement from the presidential press office.
Kagame is currently in Algeria for a two-day official visit, where he was welcomed by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
"During a joint press conference, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the longstanding partnership between Rwanda and Algeria. Kagame also revealed that Rwanda will soon open its embassy in Algiers," the statement said.
As part of Kagame's visit, the two countries signed several agreements covering areas such as air transport, visa-free travel, telecommunications, and more.
