The World Atomic Week will take place in Moscow from September 25 to 28, featuring the Global Atomic Forum. Participants will include Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, representatives from Egypt and Niger, and an address by Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected, according to the Kremlin press service.
"Alongside the Russian leader, the forum will be attended by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Myint Swe, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi, as well as representatives from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Niger, and several specialized organizations," the statement said.
Following the forum, Vladimir Putin will hold meetings with a number of heads of foreign delegations.
In July, Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov made an official visit to Niger, during which a memorandum of understanding was signed between the state corporation Rosatom and the Ministry of Energy of Niger.
