Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu will hold separate negotiations with an Algerian delegation during the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives Responsible for Security Issues, set to take place in Moscow. The news was confirmed by the press service of the Russian Security Council.

According to the statement, Shoigu's agenda on May 28–29 includes bilateral meetings with heads of delegations from India, several Latin American countries, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The Algerian delegation is among those scheduled for separate talks focused on regional and global security issues.

Representatives from the African Union and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) have also confirmed their participation in the forum. More than 40 African countries will be represented at the 13th security forum, underscoring the event's global significance.

Organizers emphasize that the forum provides a professional and depoliticized environment for high-level experts to deliberate on pressing issues of global and regional security. For the first time, the Russian Security Council will also host a scientific seminar on global security as part of the forum, with the active involvement of its academic and expert council. This new initiative aims to strengthen international discourse and cooperation on contemporary security challenges.
